Moller Auto to Launch "Moller Go" Car Subscription Service in Lithuania with a €250,000 Investment

Moller Auto is set to introduce a new car subscription service for individuals in Lithuania, named "Moller Go". The company has invested €250,000 into this innovative service, which will allow drivers to rent both new and slightly used vehicles.

According to Izida Gerkena, COO for the Baltics at Moller Auto, the service will primarily focus on subscriptions for the company's represented brands—Audi, Volkswagen, and Škoda. However, interested individuals will also have the opportunity to subscribe to vehicles from other brands. "This is a completely new way to enjoy the latest and most advanced vehicles without long-term commitments. Today, people are looking for convenience, freedom of choice, and services that meet their needs and desires, leading to a transformation in the concept of mobility. As one of the leaders in the field, our task is to adapt to these changes and offer a wide range of services that meet the expectations of today's drivers," said Gerkena.

The "Moller Go" subscription includes visits to certified car services, civil liability insurance, around-the-clock roadside assistance, and a replacement vehicle in case the main vehicle is involved in an insurable event and needs repairs. The subscription also covers the costs of changing and storing winter and summer tires, as well as vehicle depreciation.

Vehicles from "Moller Go" can be ordered remotely with pick-up available in Vilnius. Subscribers can drive the vehicle across all Baltic countries, and, with prior agreement from the provider, even beyond.

This service is already successful in Latvia.

Gerkena notes that the car subscription service launched last spring in Latvia has seen significant interest, with demand increasing by approximately 20% each month. "Although car subscription is a relatively new concept, it is becoming increasingly popular. In Latvia, individual users most frequently choose to drive models like the Volkswagen T-Cross or Volkswagen Taigo. Meanwhile, demand among business clients has surged in recent months for high-end vehicles, such as the Audi e-tron GT," shares Gerkena.

The company's COO for the Baltics adds that there are considerations in Latvia to expand the service to offer seasonal vehicle swapping and a wider variety of vehicle types. "We aim for users of this service to be able to, for example, switch from driving a convertible in the summer to a four-wheel-drive SUV in the winter, while paying the same subscription fee. Currently, we are striving to adapt and further understand the desires, financial capabilities, and daily needs of our customers. Therefore, in the future, it is likely that we will offer not only car subscriptions but also rentals of campers or electric bicycles," summarizes the speaker.
