Audi Q8 e-tron pre-sales start in Lithuania and Latvia

Pre-sales of the new Audi Q8 e-tron have started in Lithuania and Latvia. The modern design, premium all-electric SUV and crossover are distinguished by dynamic driving, improved aerodynamics, more efficient charging and even a range of up to 600 km (WLTP cycle). In Lboth countries, Audi Q8 e-tron prices start at 76,900 euro (Q8 50 e-tron model), and the first cars will reach customers in the spring of 2023.

The era of Audi's new flagship electric SUV began recently when the first Audi Q8 e-tron rolled off the production line at the Brussels plant. Since the Audi e-tron debuted in 2018, the Audi e-tron plant has become a model for sustainable production, with around 160,000 of these electric cars delivered to customers.

“In the Baltics, Audi e-tron has received great recognition and positive customer feedback. In Lithuania, electric models account for more than a tenth of all sales this year, the majority of them being Audi e-tron. With a range of up to 600 kilometres on a single charge, the upgraded version of the Q8 e-tron will undoubtedly contribute to Audi's growing share of electric car sales. A new phase of Audi's electric progress in Lithuania is about to begin, with the first pre-ordered Audi Q8 e-tron hitting the roads in the spring," says Ilgvars Lubka, Audi brand manager for Lithuania and Latvia.

Two body types, three transmission versions

The new model is available in two body styles, Audi Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron, and three all-wheel-drive electric drivetrain versions. The Audi Q8 50 e-tron and Audi Q8 50 Sportback e-tron have a useful battery capacity of 89 kWh (95 kWh total capacity) and can travel up to 491 km (SUV) and 505 km (Sportback) on the WLTP cycle.

The more powerful versions of the Audi Q8 55 e-tron and Audi Q8 55 Sportback e-tron use a larger 106 kWh battery (114 kWh total capacity). These models can travel up to 582 km on a single charge (SUV) and up to 600 km (Sportback) on the WLTP cycle.

The same batteries are used in the cutting-edge Audi SQ8 e-tron and Audi SQ8 Sportback e-tron, but with three motors instead of two, and with a power output of up to 370 kW and 973 Nm of torque. The S models can travel up to 494 km (SUV) and 513 km (Sportback) on a single charge.

Large batteries can be charged up to a maximum power of 170 kW. In this case, the battery can be recharged from 10% to 80% in just 31 minutes.  – under ideal conditions, this gives a range of up to 420 km (WLTP).

Complete design and spacious interior

One look at the Audi Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron and it's clear that they are fully electric. The redesigned front and rear clearly echoes the design language of Audi's electric cars.

With a length of 4.915 metres, a width of 1.937 metres and a height of 1.619 metres (Sportback) or 1.633 metres (SUV), the Q8 e-tron offers the ultimate in space and comfort for electric cars. With a wheelbase of 2.928 metres, it offers plenty of space for those sitting in the back. The boot capacity is also generous: In the SUV version, it reaches 569 liters, in the Sportback – 528 liters. In the front there is an additional box with a capacity of 62 liters.

More convenience and safety

The Audi Q8 e-tron is equipped with about 40 driving assistance systems. Up to five radars, five cameras and 12 ultrasonic sensors analyse environmental information. One of the innovations is the Remote Park Assist Plus, which helps push the Audi Q8 e-tron into even the narrowest parking space with the myAudi app. The Q8 e-tron can be equipped with digital Matrix led headlights. On the motorway, the orientation lights indicate the position of the car in the lane, helping the driver to stay safely in his lane. Three more new features are available: improved traffic information, lane lighting with direction indicator and orientation lighting on country roads.

Recycled materials used

The Audi Q8 e-tron will be certified CO2 neutral for buyers in Europe and the USA. In addition, some of these electric vehicle parts are manufactured by Audi using recycled materials. This reduces the amount of resources used and contributes to a closed, efficient and sustainable cycle of circular use of materials. In addition, for the first time recycled materials have been used in the manufacture of safety-related parts – plastic waste from cars recycled chemically is included in plastic seatbelt buckle covers.
